Biography[Español][Français] I was born in 1947 in Morocco, where I was educated in French until part of my secondary education, which I completed in France. I studied esperanto when I was thirteen. In 1965, I went to Grenoble where I studied at the Lycée Champollion until 1968. After my secondary studies, I prepared for the Interpreters' School of Geneva, Switzerland. I went first to Madrid and then to London to perfect Spanish and English at the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas and the Complutense University in Madrid, as well as the City of London College, respectively. I passed the Cambridge Proficiency and I obtained several diplomas from these educational centres. I then completed my studies at the well-known Interpreters' School of Geneva, the first in the world up to now. During the last year I lived in Geneva, I had the opportunity to study Portuguese in order to work for the State of Geneva. I was in charge of a group of Latin American technical experts within the Swiss technical co-operation. I also worked at the UNO in Geneva during some months in Summer. In 1972, I left Switzerland and I started my professional activity in Madrid, where I married and I still live. Little by little I acquired my professional experience in translation, interpretation, teaching and announcing. I translated a variety of texts in different fields mainly into my native language, French. I had a number of contacts with every kind of clients and translators of many languages, who collaborated with me. I even created a translation and interpretation agency which is still on the market in Madrid. In short, I became familiar with many documents, from literature to medicine, and even poetry. My present daily work covers, apart from free lance translation, information from every field, since I have been working since 1982 as a short wave radio announcer in a cultural and informative broadcast in French. I have translated many documents, among others, for the RTVE, the WTO, the Commission of the European Community, the European Parliament, the Spanish Royal Palace and Spanish ministeries in Spain, Dragados y Construcciones, S.A.
